Blogging? What's that?

I really didn't think that this bloggin stuff had any worth, but now I have changed my mind. It would be great for scattered families who want to keep up with news concerning a parent's medical condition or children and family members activities. It would be much easier than sending everyone separate emails and making the same responses to each one. Also, if a group of people were working on a similar project, couldn't discuss their progress easily, then posting information on the blog for all the members to see would be very helpful and time efficient.
There might be something to this blogging after all!!!!

Great idea about sharing information with family members or colleaques working on the same project from different locations.
Sometimes it is easier for me to think about a way to use new technology personally before trying to apply to the work environment. Happy exploring!

Welcome to the Brave New World of Web 2.0. I know a number of families that maintain blogs to keep everyone up on news. Somehow, a blog seems less intrusive than email -- one can check the blog at one's convenience. Of course, you still have to remember to check the blog...but RSS can help with that.
